University of Cyprus

The University of Cyprus (UCY) is the leading public-sector university in Cyprus with more than 7,000 students and 1,000 employees. From UCY, the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (KIOS CoE) will participate in this project which was established in 2008 and is considered a research leader in Cyprus and beyond in the area of monitoring, control and fault diagnosis of critical infrastructure systems, including smart power systems and renewables energy sources. The KIOS CoE has secured more than 70 externally funded projects with a total share over 55 million Euros and currently employs more than 100 researchers.
